Anmol Pinky drug case Karachi

A woman arrested on drug trafficking charges in Karachi, identified as Anmol alias “Pinky”, has allegedly revealed during interrogation that several police officials received large bribes from her network in exchange for releasing suspects and ignoring narcotics activities.

According to preliminary investigation reports, Pinky claimed that one police officer repeatedly detained her brother and later released him after taking bribes. She further alleged that officers from multiple police stations were being paid lakhs of rupees every month to facilitate the operations of her alleged narcotics network.

Investigators said the accused also disclosed that her organisation generated more than Rs20 million per month through drug sales in Karachi. Authorities believe the network was operating across different parts of the city through riders and distributors involved in the delivery of narcotics.

During the inquiry, officials discovered that two mobile SIM cards allegedly used by Pinky were registered under the names of Afzal and Sabira Bibi. Police are now attempting to trace additional members of the suspected network and verify the identities linked to the communication channels.

The accused further claimed that one police official detained her riders and allegedly received a combined bribe of nearly Rs10 million for their release.

Law enforcement agencies are continuing investigations into the allegations, including claims of corruption and possible links between members of the narcotics network and police personnel.

The case has drawn significant public attention after earlier raids reportedly led to the recovery of drugs, chemicals, weapons and other materials allegedly connected to narcotics production and distribution.

Officials say further interrogations and forensic examinations are underway to identify additional suspects and determine the full scale of the alleged operation. Authorities have not yet publicly commented on the bribery allegations against police officials.
